Vegas and The LeDuc's!!!

Last week the kids and I were able to make a trip to Vegas!
Carly, Jimmy, and Navee recently moved to Vegas and it had been way to long since we were able to spend some time with them so we planned a trip! Allegiant Air ROCKED with some AMAZING prices for us to go super cheap which made the trip even sweeter!
If I had my wish Carly would just move here to Galt and live next door so we could continue on all with all of our crazyness like we did in college but we have to be big kids these days so I am just glad we are able to still get our trips in to see eachother.

I could NOT get over how cute these two looked rolling their suitcases thru the airport, so grown up yet still so little! They did really well on the trip and security and even with a 3 hour delay they didnt destroy me!

I felt bad for the people sitting in front of sis, she enjoyed her tray table way to much as well as it capabilities to go up and down, but for the most part I had enough junk food and stuff to keep us good for the 57 minute flight. Compared to flying to New York this was a cake walk.

Navee LeDuc we MISSED you! It was so fun to get to spend some quality time with Navee she has grown up so much and I love her personailty. Kamrynn and Navee are only a few days apart in age but she actually LOVED wyatt! She is ONE TOUGH COOKIE (like her mother) so having someone to wrestle with and pick on her was like a dream come true. She is such an easy going little girl, just give her a jumprope or a rock and she will stay busy for hours! :)

A few of the days Carly had to work and the kids and I were out on the town all alone... so of course we hit the strip?! jk.. Vegas has some AMAZING PARKS, Casinos DEF have their perks for communities! All brand new, splash pads, and awesome equipment!
When I was more pumped about the parks then the shopping or anything else I looked and Carly and was like MAN things have changed! I remember the last time Carly and I went to Vegas and were all dressed up in heels and skirts hitting the big lights, this time sweatshirts, tennis shoes and PARKS :)

Oh the PIRATE SHOW!
Grandma Karol had told Wyatt all about the awesome Pirate show he would get to see in Vegas... little did she know that it has CHANGED dramatically from the sword fighting Cannon shooting show it used to be.
DEF targeted to the mature crowd with a girl and a boy boat trying to seduce one another! I was DYING laughing that my kids were so pumped to see this! Luckily they did have the boat sink and there was a few gun shots between the booty shaking and males flexing!
Later we asked Kam how the pirate show went and she said...
"The CAPTAIN took off his SHIRT" hahah! OH WOW!
Mom of the YEAR!

Double Bob oh how I love you. WE got all three kids in it around town and it was awesome at the airport!

$12.00 per POUND at the M & M factory but hey we did it !
One of the BEST parts of our trip was being able to see the new home Carly and Jimmy just closed on!
It is BEAUTIFUL and they scored and AMAZING deal. Carly and I went there a few times to check on paint colors and all that jazz! They are starting the moving process this weekend and I am so excited for them.

We were visiting on Valentines Day so Jimmy was sweet enough to get me flowers too! :) Such a big teddy bear that guy is! These two are some of the best people on this entire planet! I love watching the dynamics of their relationship how much they care for one another! Jimmy tells the best stories and can seriously make me cry in laughter teasing my best friend and her hilarious life tactics! Never a Dull moment!

Packed up and ready to go home, Kids were tired but had a blast!
So thankful we were able to spend time just the kiddos and me as well as visit some of the people closest to my heart. There are few friends in your life that you can pick up right where you left off and never feel like you missed a moment. Meeting Carly at BYU almost 9 years ago was one of the biggest blessings of my life then and she has continued to touch my heart ever since.

Woody and Buzz and Jesse Oh YA!

Toy Story On Ice

Luckily for my kiddos sake I have this super annoying friend who loves to search out things to drag her kid to and usually convinces me to do the same thing so we were at it again Disney on Ice take 3 I think for us!
We did SCORE some really good seats this go around , right in the front of where most the action took place and pretty low so the kids loved that! The story was super cute but I would Definetly say the first half peaked our kiddos interest more then the second. It was one of the longer shows and being that it started at 7:00 it got a little narley at the end!

My crazy kiddos getting down on their snacks ! Sis kept yelling where is BULLSEYE and Jesse, I had no idea that she liked them so much.  Wyatt was sure to find his Woody doll that I dont think I had seen him play with in FOREVER and show it off, also told me it was his favorite thing in the whole world, funny how that happens.
Missy Joey and her Chicken Nuggets! It is so fun brining her with the kids because I feel like if every minute they are rocking her world! She is such a well behaved little girl, quiet little voice, and slow pace little mentality. I love IT! She adores my kiddos and do they her, she is still "baby joey" to them and I love seeing how much they care for her. Especially since Kamrynn is a whopping 10 days older then her :)
 Pretty Little Princesses!
They do get pretty crazy with one another at times tho, Kamrynn being the bully I would hate to admit but Joey will hold her own when they start throwing blows haha! Jamies assures me tho even when Joey is older and won't want to invite Kam to her birthday parties she is going to make them be friends regaudless!
This was the BEST to watch, the were getting DOWN to the music. Totally Rocking it. I tried to convince Wyatt to go dance with the girls but he looked at me like he was no fool and way to mature for that.
Ya, we left a little early. Kamrynn passed out in my arms, Joey was fighting to keep her eyes open and Wyatt was curled up in a ball on his chair.  We missed the Toys getting back to Andy's house which made us be able to get home WAY FASTER! That parking garage at the stockton arena is INTENSE and in the past we have been stuck in line of traffic for like an hour so Jamie and I were happy to leave a minute early and get out of the mess.... plus hey I had Toy Story DVD playing in the backseat so the kids fell back asleep thinking they were still at the show ! :)

Sooner then later I was teasing Jamie that unless one of us gets a bigger car we won't be able to ride together to these events and that will take all the fun out of it!

Life full of good memories , happy to get to make them!

Showering with Love!

Baby Shower for Mrs. Whitford and Baby Girl

This past weekend I was able to throw a baby shower for my friend Jamie who is due at the End of March!
She is actaully a Stigelmayer, so when you told me at first she wanted to have a small shower I knew that it was virtually impossible! :) ... nor did I want her to exclude ANY of the people that love her and this new baby just as much as I do so we had a HOUSE FULL of LADIES!! It was great and turned out just how I had hoped. If you know me I LOVE planning events and thankful for the oppurtunity to be apart of this.
After browsing through the wonderful world of pinterest I tried to get some new ideas to throw into the shower to mix things up a bit.... major problem is I am no where NEAR "creative" when it comes to actually getting the idea in my head out to the world. So, I did what I could to make it happen. Instead of your typical cake decided to do a PREGO BAR. Ice cream bar with all the goodies and treats for toppings. Thank GOODNESS for the dollar store with any party , right? Saves so much money for the same products! Got a bunch of the bulk toppings from that WONDERFUL trip I told you about at Winco .
I am not a HUGE game fan , I know what a debbie downer right? So, we did the Baby game. Got everyone these stylish Beads , courtesy of the Dollar store and you weren't allowed to say the Baby word. Kind of an SUPER EASY game that takes no real effort... Just my style! :0
Our second game became a real "stink" LITERALLY! We decided to go with the guess what chocolate was in the new born "poopy" diaper , NOTE Do NOT PLACE DIAPERS IN MICROWAVE! It was hilarious but rather smelly for a bit as we burned a twix bar and nb diaper trying to get the chocolate to melt. It did however add an extra element when tryign to guess burny chocolate!

Jamie Marie and baby girl about 32 Weeks PREGO I believe. She looks super cute ! She wil probably want to punch me for posting this picture but I think it turned out good!
Jamie and Joey raking in the loot for the new sis! Baby J is definetly Well loved and beyond set !
The Family Clan ! Such amazing woman!

I had so many friends help out with brining food, treats and everything else!
Josh had to stop by for a minute and he totally claimed that he could here the chatter of woman out in the shop outside and said it was for sure getting "deep"  inside :)

Can't wait for Baby J's arrival !!!

Oh Winco !

Doesn't anyone else feel like going to Winco is like a complete workout?! Add the kiddos into the mix whom demanded that we get the HUGE cart that has like the kids seats in the front and then the basket so that we are literally like 8 feet long trucking down the aisles, always a good time! Of course I went on FEB 2 too , DUMB idea everyone gets paid at the first of the month!

Anyways we were checking things off the list, Kamrynn dumped out a huge scoop of flour all over herself and the aisle in the bulk section and of course they put the wrapped valentines candy in the front of the aisle to entice kids to beg their mothers whom are suckas!!

So as I am like starting to sweat with my 8ft cart gettting filled and heavier with the necessities and making false threatening statements to the kids that if they got out of the cart again I was going to beat them, none of which they actually even cared to listen to , and circling the store like 3 times looking for some stupid carmel we were to the end... or shall I say the WORST part!

Check out, now I totally understand and appreciate Winco pricing and making things affordable but bagging your own groceries is really just crazy!

Wyatt was super helpful THROWING things onto the belt to get checked which is always kind of weird because the person in front of you is doing the same song and dance of trying to unload their cart then run their cart the end to start bagging then run back of to the cash register to pay meanwhile my stuff is already like overflowing the belt and getting into theirs .

Well we are all unloaded about to start our check out and after Kam just knocked down 5 boxes of candy on the little side aisles she has to got potty.

I said okay honey lets just wait 2 mins and pay and then we will go....

" NOOOOOO I HAVE TO GO NOW MOMMY, HURRY HURRY NOW" As she dances around and yells.. Well no Fighting that. I look at the CHeckstand lady who I think is already over it for the day and I was like we will be right back there is no holding this 2 year old back.

All three of us run to the bathroom leaving the cart mid aisle .... what are you doing to do right?

Either a puddle on the floor or we keep the traffic moving in line.

We made it out , Smooshed cupcakes after Kamrynn decided to help me bag and literally THREW the bags into the cart and pushed the 8ft cart out to the back 40's of the parking lot.

After loading up the car and drinking like my whole water bottle I kind of just laughed, this is life and it's so funny sometimes but I am so happy to get these type of experiences with my kids pushing to my limits and making me realize that I really can't control everything and just gotta go with the flow, it will all work out and the ride will always be good.

Cooking....Carrot Protein bars..

Did some baking yesterday again, yes another shocker it wasn't from a box either!

I have to admit it was still pretty easy , it is just more work making sure you have all the ingredients, well since I Dont typically cook that is usually my stopping point becuase I don't have them and GEEZE oh PEET buying spices and what not is NOT CHEAP! Luckily we did get a awesome spice and cooking "what not" rack from the wedding that until recent has been a but little decor on my countertops but I have been pleasently suprised to find most these random ingredients in it for the recipes I have been finding!

I made Carrot Protein bars that I got off the bodybuilding website from the famous Jamie Eason. Thiriza had made some pumpkin ones the other day that were AMAZING so I decided to try the carrot. I have to say I think I will go for the pumpkin next time but these are still pretty good.

Josh said if we added Vanilla Creme frosting to them they would be over the top... but since I made protein bars and not CAKE , not gonna happen!

Here is the recipe
